The beliefs of the writer of this site are the following:
Foundations
- The Bible is the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 1:1, Hebrews 4:12)
- Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God (Luke 3:22, 2 Peter 1:17)
- All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
- Our only hope of salvation is faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, as our Savior (Acts 4:12) who was sinless (2 Corinthians 5:21), died on the cross for our sins (Matthew 27:33-56), was buried, (Matthew 27: 57-66) and He rose again! (Matthew 28:1-20)
- We should strive to continue become more like Christ (Acts 3:19, John 14:21)
- We are saved by faith alone, there is absolutely nothing we can do to earn salvation by works or maintain our salvation through works after believing. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Daily Living
- We should seek God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
- Our call is to Love God and to love those around us treating others how we would want to be treated by them (Matthew 22:34-40)
- You show your love for God by obeying His commands and believing in His Son (1 John 5:3, John 14:23)
- Intentional, consistent prayer should be our habit (Philippians 4:6-7, Ephesians 6:18)
- We should be watching for the Lord’s Return (Colossians 4:2, Hebrews 9:28, Luke 12:40)
